RockXP allows you to retrieve and change your XP product key that you used when you installed Windows XP. This can come very handy if you need to reinstall but have misplaced or lost the CD cover with the serial sticker.     J’ai perdu le code d’enregistrement de mon WinXP CD.J’ai l’enveloppe avec la clef (product key) mais j’ai perdu le code d’enregistrement (registration code).Comment puis-je le retrouver s’il vous plait?

    Hi Korben!
    Maybe it’s clear to others - but I need help - sorry…
    How do you use RockXP to get back product keys of products installed?

    1) it seems to want to run in DOS… ?

    2) or should the product wanted be running?

    3) does this only work with XP (not Win2000, for instance) ?

    Ok - thanks! Maybe you have answered this somewhere else but I couldn’t find it.

    RockXP will retrieve your MS Product key on win2000 and XP but you must run RockXP on your system where are installed all the MS Products…

    i need help!!! :( :( when i bought my pc i activated windows and evrything waas fine…about 3 months later it started askin me for a activation code because my present one has exceeded….:( i tried the rock xp but it didnt have any effects to he activation thing pleeeaasse help

    I would be delighted to make a contribution for all of your hard work, however, your product (RockXP) doesn’t work. It retrieves my product ID and I have attempted endlessly to change my product ID to no avail.

    RockXP will never activate your Windows XP… But the only thing i can say is that there are some *illegal* technique to do this… Sorry to not help you more…

    C’est tjrs le meme probleme.
    Les antivirus detectent rockXP comme un outils dangereux car il affiche vos mots de passe. Mais pas d’inquietude a avoir !! ce n’est pas un virus ni un spyware. RockXP n’infecte rien et n’envoi rien a personne…

    moi, adaware me dit qu’il faut supprimer RockXP.
    En général, ils ne se trompent pas car ils font des vérifications manuelles des process 1 par 1 avant de les mettre dans leur base…

    Bonjour, je ne comprend pas mais je fais tout ce qui est indiqué mais je n’arrive pas à changer ma clée.. A chaque fois c’est l’ancienne clée qui revient. J’ai grand besoins d’aide. Merci d’avance…

    C’est pareil, je ne comprend pas comment marche RockXP, rien ne change. Je veux changer la clé pour pouvoir installer la version SP2 d’XP.

    Lo siento, pero no se frances y aunque no creo q nadie de por aqui entienda esto… por si alguno entiende algo, me gustaria saber si podria descragar de alguna parte esa beta de este genial programa que tanto ayuda y si ya se soluciono el problema de las claves con las nuevas versiones de MSN, la 7 y la 8…

    J’ai télécharger RockXp. Avant même qu’il ne soit lancé, il m’est signalé la présence de plusieurs virus, et les mises à jour de Windows ont automatiquement bloqué son écriture sur le disque. Alors, c’est toujours un programme intéressant ? C’est dommage, il était prometteur !!

    Pas grave. C’est parce que certains antivirus le detecte comme un voleur de mot de passe alors qu’il ne fait qu’afficher vos mot de passe en clair. Ce n’est aucunement un virus ni un spyware, donc vous pouvez l’executer sans probleme. Par contre, je vous recommande d’utiliser un vrai antivirus tel que Kaspersky qui est selon moi le + efficace du marché.

    Par contre, pour etre sur que mes programmes ne sont pas virusés, téléchargez les directement sur mon site.

    Alors ne te laisse pas décourager par les critiques de certains qui ne se rendent pas compte du temps et du talent qu’il faut pour faire ce genre de boulot, juste fais-le :-) Et t’as raison, tu n’étais certainement pas assez payé à ton ancien boulot….

    I have an hp notebook that I’ve had to replace the hard disk. I had a friend reload XP SP2 and my other software but he didn’t use my original cds or product key from the sticker on the back of my computer. He did it another way. I now have an unauthorized XP or at least not my original licensed version and would like to convert it to my orignal. The old disk is still working and I used your software to get the product key which by the way is different than the sticker on the computer and backed up the WPA file. When I put in the new disk what do I need to do to put things in their original state. Thanks in advance for the help.

    Hi.I had win xp pro sp2 OEM original pack cdrom from Microsoft, installed. But someone told me that with that version (OEM) I’ld never could updating win xp pro, totally. And sold me an other version that worked well and did updates, till Advantage Genuine came out. After this GA report my key as ilegal!I dont find anymore that guy! What I want? Reverse the situation by just inserting my original OEM serial in my windows xp pro sp2 system already in use. I dont want format again to do it cz I’ll lose many tech stuff I colected and installed and have not anymore instalation files. I have tryed OOBE/phone/…. and so on to change but windows dont accept my real original OEM xp pro sp2 key!
    How I must do for ? I’ll pay you what you think right for that. Tkz.

    Hello,

    OEM serials and Standard version serials are not the same. You can’t register a Standard XP Version with an OEM licence key and vice versa.
    So the only solution in your case is to replace that illegal key by another key (”legal”) for Standard Professionnal version of XP…

    If it’s not possible for you, the second solution is to reformat or reinstall your original OEM version on your computer. OEM XP version can be updated on Windows Update like any XP version with a licence key valid.

    That’s all i can do for you… i’m really sorry.

    Bonjour,

    J’ai un Xp Pro SP2 “Corporate Edition” d’installé et soit disant “contrefait”…
    Effectivement, j’ai réinstallé mon portable DELL professionnel avec ce genre de CD…
    Pas de soucy jusqu’à dernièrement ;) Je voudrais resaisir/modifier mon Product Key, celui collé au dos du PC, mais ça ne marche pas, rien ne change/se passe sous RockXP…
    Idem avec le Product Key de mon collègue ayant le même modèle…
    Il me faut absolument un Product Key “Corporate” ?
    Ou réinstaller avec un CD Xp Pro DELL (ou autre ?) avec mon Product Key DELL (c’est justement ce que je n’ai pas envie de faire bien entendu)?

    Have you made any progress on the Secure Storage that is used with IE7? After I upgraded to IE7 (currently beta 3) I have been unable to use Rock III to retrive passwords.

    J’ai le même problème que celui exposé ci-dessous… mais je ne comprends pas bien votre suggestion.

    (En fait le but du jeu pour moi est, au final, de récupérer des fichiers cryptés par Windows dont Microsoft ne m’avait jamais encouragé à sauvegarder la clé… Si jamais vous avez une idée la dessus, je suis preneur et déjà indéfiniment reconnaissant :)) )

    Si ca remet l’ancienne c’est que ta clé n’est pas bonne…
    Il y a beaucoup de versions d’XP differentes (et pas seulement, HOME / PRO mais aussi corporate, des XP de constructeurs comme Compaq…Etc) et donc chaque version a sa clé qui correspond

    Une question à propos de RockXP, comme son nom l’indique ça marche que sur XP j’imagine, une version Vista est prévue? ….Ouais c’est bon j’ai Vista :S

    Juste une petite remarque.
    La V3.0 detecte mes versions installées d’OFFICE XP , VISIO et bien sur XP, la V4.0 Beta ne voit QUE XP.
    Refresh, redémarrage n’y changeant rien.

    Est ce normal ?

    hey korben i got big prob i installed vista ultimate on an another pc and then after restarted it said that the trial time expired and now i must type in the product key…i cant do anything just type in the product key or go into the internet i got genuinecheck.exe it gave me 8 numbers but when i type them in its wrong can u help me??i trie everything even to download rockxp bu it tell me this: File Not Found

    Firefox can’t find the file at http://www.korben.info/softs/RockXP3.exe.

    Could the item have been renamed, removed, or relocated?
    * Is there a spelling, capitalization, or other typographical error in the address?
    * Do you have sufficient access permissions to the requested item?

    can u help me its important…
